Era filho de Guilherme Nogueira de Castro e de Maria Vargas Brito de Castro. Prestou o servi\u00e7o militar em 1947, j\u00e1 em Muria\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Foi jogador do Nacional Atl\u00e9tico Clube, nos gloriosos idos de 1940, quando o NAC era muito conhecido e prestigiado em toda regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Durante toda a sua vida, exerceu com honradez a profiss\u00e3o de comerci\u00e1rio na Transportadora OPC Ltda., de Odir Paix\u00e3o Costa.<\/p>\n<p>Casou-se em 1949, com Ruth Marques de Castro, tamb\u00e9m residente em Muria\u00e9, e tiveram quatro filhos: Ivanilde, Ivany, Vicente J\u00fanior e Izelena. Foi \u00f3timo pai e chefe de fam\u00edlia.<\/p>\n<p>Faleceu em 1989, com apenas sessenta e tr\u00eas anos, em pleno Mineir\u00e3o, quando assistia a um jogo do Cruzeiro Esporte Clube.<\/p>\n<p>Por ter sido um cidad\u00e3o honrado e muito estimado em Muria\u00e9, foi levado seu nome a uma das ruas de nossa cidade no bairro S\u00e3o Gotardo, conforme decreto n\u00ba 859\/92, no governo do Prefeito Municipal Doutor Christiano Augusto Bicalho Can\u00eado.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nascido em 26 de abril de 1926 Falecido em 30 de abril de 1989 Vicente Vargas de Castro nasceu em Tombos, Minas Gerais.
